The other reviews are right, it does change the sound, but not suppress it... It makes it almost like a SNAP when fired... Hard to believe with a 22, but it does reduce recoil even more... I sat 30 yrds from a 6" plate and hit every round burst fire while kneeling... I love my M4!!

Great addition to the m4. Added weight to the barrel to help with muzzle jump and accuracy. Looks cool, feels well made....Comes with a wrench but I recommend only tightening it down by hand. It also changed the sound very slightly, it's not louder nor quieter it's just different.

Easily attaches to the gun and looks awesome. Gives the gun a nice sound when fired as well. Adds extra weight to the barrel, so buy a foregrip to go with your M4. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. It will strip your compensator threads out easily.
