Received item super fast with quick e-mails and tracking numbers, installed this sight on my Olympic Arms AR today. It took a little longer than I was expecting as i had to do a small amount of filing on my front sight post hole to get a proper fit (the non threaded part). It was no big deal, chainsaw blade file works perfect. Also spring seemed a little long to still get the end nut threaded on so I trimmed about 1/16th of an inch off the spring. Sight is adjustable for elevation after installing and includes a little tool. Also I applied a small amount Loctite removable thread locker on the end nut. Over all happy with the sight, knocked 1 bullet off for the fiber optic piece being a flexible rubber instead of hard plastic, sight glows bright and is all metal construction

I bought one of these sights a few months back ,thinking well if its terrible at least I didn't pay a small fortune for it. After installing and zeroing, I decided to run my AR very hard ,combat class hard. It was toohot to touch, but there was no damage to the fiberoptics and the tritium stayed very bright. I love how the dot does not distract from or cover too much of the target, as I have taken squirrels at 75-100 yards , and it's very fast for up close critters. Fantastic sight, rugged, reliable, and fun to use. When my new shop opens I will sell it there.

Seemed like a good idea. Instead of paying $500 for a red dot sight just replace the front sight post. Well as soon as I installed it, the thread-locker that they used to secure the top end came loose. I thought "no big deal" and JB welded it back since that part should NOT come loose. I reinstalled it and realized that it sits canted, so that you see part of the side of it while mounted and this cannot be fixed. Also it wobbles around a lot and the provided adjustment tool mars the finish. And good luck finding a 3/16 wrench!!! I know I mounted it right, but it is just poor quality. If they did their measurements right it might be a good idea.

This is a great sight visiable in all lighting conditions from pitch black to very bright sunlight. I would not get any other front sight.
