This is by far the best machete I have ever owned (have owned several). I have used it multiple times around my property and shows little/no sign of wear. While it was a bummer that it didn't come with a sheath, it was still a great bargain. I had a nice sheath from a crappy $5 machete that fit it perfectly, and while the old machete is long gone, I will have the OKC one for quite some time.

Nice machete, let down by the lack of a sheath (real PO factor) Even the cheap Walmart one come with one, and I have never purchased any blade with one being supplied.....until now

Agree with previous review, plus some...this is one of the best machetes you can buy. I really like the finger loop, too...keeps a very secure grip, even with sweaty fingers.

This machete is beyond my hopes for what $18.25 would buy. the blade is actually 1/8 inch thick and the handle is cast molded around the blade tang. I can see why this is sold out all the time, IT IS WORTH IT! BUY THIS TOOL!!! Far superior to the home depot/Wal-Mart junk! As soon as I get the in stock e-mail notice, I am buying 3 more for my friends!
