Purchased one of these because my father owned one just like it. I love it and it came in blazing fast shipping. Only thing I dont like is it does NOT come with a sheath (unless you count the paper one it came in). Besides that it is a nice product.

I have actually owned two of these. My first was loaned out and never returned. I tried several other makes/models all of which were highly disappointing. These are heavy and have a nice solid handle. They are stiff and solid with a thick spine and very little flex. They will hold an edge well, but you can break it if you are careless and strike hard on the side of the blade. I personally have not found another machete I have liked after owning and using this one.

Very good for cutting weeds and such but too brittle for cutting wood...Had 6 inches of mine fly off! Carefull!
