CTD offered the best price by far. I received mine today. I found it to be plenty bright actually. Of course, it came with a new battery. In average lighting, even setting "1" was pretty decent. At setting "11" only the brightest part of a clear lamp element outshined the red dot when viewing through the sight.

Difficult to see the red dot in the outdoors, even in the brightest setting. Tried a different battery but did not help. The brightness seems to fluctuate & flicker in seconds. Ok for range but would not entrust my life to it. Sig makes great guns but lousy sights. Acutally, they dont make it. A Chinese company does, then they slap on their logo. Stick with the name brands if your life depends on it. There is a reason why you dont see military & LEOs using this sight.

I bought one and now another one. At this price and quality how can anyone argue? After about 500 rounds each they are still on the same battery they came with and dead on target at 100 yards. Unless you plan on spending more money for the look-a-like this is your sight. Y'all have a nice day.

This a great sight. I put it on my Bushmaster ORC AR-15 and it was dead on at thirty yards right out of the box. It needed very little adjustment at one hundred yards, but more importantly it has remained dead on after 500 rounds. It is a little pricey, but to me the Sig Sauer name is worth it. The dot is slightly hard to see in extremely bright situations (even at the brightest setting), but I don't have any problems with it. I highly recommend the sight. Would have given it 5 bullets if price was a little lower.
