I have been shooting for over forty years, and have but one thing to say: This stuff is amazing! Like most of you, I try to take good care of my firearms, but I learned something new after I bought this cleaner. For my initial test, I brought out 4 different .30 caliber rifles from my safe. They had all been lovingly cleaned before storage. After a one hour bore soak, I was shocked to find dark blue patches coming from the muzzle of the rifles. SharpShoot-R was dissolving the copper fouling that I didn't know even existed after scrubbing with the "other" brands. Even odder was the fact that it didn't smell like ammonia or other harsh chemicals. Actually, it smelled kinda' like dish-washing liquid. My worst rifle bore needed three applications before the patches came out clean. One of the best things is that this product requires NO scrubbing. I use a .30 caliber mop to apply the cleaner, let it soak, then push it out with a plastic jag and patch. In all honesty, if you haven't tried this, you're missing out.
