The BLACKHAWK! Serpa holster design allows you to forget old fashioned thumb breaks that slow your draw and complicate reholstering. The patented SERPA Technology lock engages the trigger guard as you holster your pistol and the lock will not let go until you release it. The release is accomplished using a normal drawing motion, with the trigger finger beside the holster body. The Serpa is the perfect retention holster for concealed carry. The weapon cannot accidentally leave the holster.

BLACKHAWK Serpa Technology features a full firing grip for draw and immediate retention upon reholster. With the Serpa there is no thumb break or awkward middle finger release to slow down your draw. The holsters speed cut allows faster drawing and easy reholstering.

I have been wearing my Judge all day and I can't even tell I have it on. This holster fits the pistol and me just perfect. I am impressed, now I just wish they made one for my Taurus PT145 Pro!!!

Have to say that I got more than what I expected. I have seen other Officers carrying the Blackhawk double retention holsters on duty, and was impressed..Of course I don't carry the "JUDGE" on duty, but this particular holster was not really designed for that..VERY SMOOTH draw,, and re-holster (best molding possible....)..The retention feature comes natural with the draw, no slow down. AND THE BEST thing that CTD does not list about this holster is that it comes with a paddle, so it can be worn as a paddle holster, (after removing the belt clip), I wasn't not expecting that, good dual feature from blackhawk. Unless you expect the moon, I don't think u will go wrong, even with the price. I could not find it anywhere cheaper.

I've bought a BlackHawk Serpa holster for every pistol I own. I can't say it enough...these are the best holsters you can buy. They don't rub up against your side, plus the lock is great. Spend a little extra money for one of these.
