Took this scope out Friday and tried it at 100yds on my CZ453 American. Clarity was good up to 20 on magnification, crosshairs are very fine and hard to see on target. For the money spent...I could have done better with a Nikon Monarch of same magnification and a few dollars more. Scope turned alot of heads at range because of its girth but thats not what i was looking for. Lesson learned but will keep as a back up, I would not recommend this scope at this price.

Just received and mounted. Scope is enormous! I have it on a CZ453 American .17 HMR. Scope's about as long as the rifle but I'm sure it will do fine at the range. I plan to mount on a .308 in the near future, but now just have to try it out first. It looks solid and is very bright. The sun shade is a nice option and appears solid as well. If kept on my .17 HMR, I will need medium rings, as it sits pretty high with included high rings. Comes with a scope bag, too, which is nice, but won't fit with shade on. Overall, seems to be a sweet scope. Will try it out this weekend at 100-250 yds and see.

This scope is mounted on a 6.5-284 with 20 degree base for 600 and 1000 yard competition. Holds zero flawlessly at 600 and 1000 yards. Glass is as clear as others Nightforse scopes. Maybe the 35mm tube helps. Sidefocus works well, don't pay any attention to the marked yardage, just turn it until it is right. Mil-dot a a bit to course for the bull at 1000 yards but is manageable.I give it a 5 because of it's averall value. After one full season it is still perfect.
