Great feel while shooting. Put 200 rounds through it on the first day. Had to do a bit of modding to make it fit, but other than that, it's a good deal.

As stated, will only fit on stamped receivers, which most AK variants are. Bought this for my 1972 Romanian WASR 10/63. Excellent in quality, durability, functionality, and financial categories. You cannot beat the price for a quality pistol grip, TIGHT fitting forend grip, no wobble, capable of mounting optics, etc. Also, the collapsible/folding stock is a great upgrade to any AK. Not only is this Strikeforce package aesthetically pleasing, but is also a monumental improvement over the stock parts. Increased ventilation, reduced recoil, and ergonomic grip are only a few of the perks. CONS: The only things you have to do to get this package in prime condition are Dremel or sand minor plastic on the inside of the lower part of the forend grip (you will understand what I mean when you attempt to install). Also, the drill bit size ATI recommends when drilling into the stock for install is a bit too large for the standard AK hardware that they recommend to reuse. I would go a 1/16" or 1/8" smaller to confirm a tighter fit with the stock and AK screws. After firing about 90 rds thru my WASR, I noticed loosening of the screw that connects the collapsible part of the stock to the folding. I would recommend using high strength epoxy and also the screw to prevent further loosening [Note: using epoxy on this part does not hinder any functionality (i.e. folding or extending the stock)] These issues are minor (it's just nice to know what has to be done for confidence in your weapon) and I highly recommend this product.

I bought this set for my 1980 WASR-10/63. This product is made quite well and I highly recommend it. I did have to dremel the handguard a bit, but everything fits snug and solid. Not to mention, looks BAD-***!!!!

I bought this AK furniture upgrade kit for my father-in-law's Chinese thumb hole AK. I was skeptical at first but after installing it I am now looking for my own AK. All of the furniture fits very well and is a breeze to install. The hardest part is removal of the original furniture. I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for that tactical look on their AK.

Bought this for my 1972 WASR 10/63. It required a little bit of machining but nothing difficult. This kit completely changed the look of my toy with great delight and makes it feel like a new rifle. I also added a new muzzle break and fore grip. The pistol grip is more comfortable than any other rifle I have fired. The stock does add some length vs. the original wood but with the cheek rest I am able to get on zero more quickly. The upper hand guard was the most difficult part, I had to use a drimmel to shave it down to fit snugly. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants an affordable and durable upgrade to any stock AK/WASR.

Awesome product, no problem to install on my new WASR 10/63 bought new in 2011. No filing or modifications. Watch videos on youtube if you have questions on removing old furniture and installing new they help a lot...I cannot tell you how much nicer this gun is to shoot now.

I bought this for my MAK 90, and it works, but requires mods. The quality of the item is superb. This is a great value product. Several factors make this a labor intense fit on a MAK 90. #1 - Stock does not slide into receiver without removing material. This is due to the fact that the MAK has a thicker stamped receiver than any European version. Also the tab stick out about 1mm further than the stock has a recess for, so additional grinding with a dremel is needed. It will work, but it's tough to get done clean. #2 - Pistol grip mounting screw is not long enough. You'll need one that is about 4" long... what comes with the grip is about 3.75". It's an M6 threaded flat head machine screw. Whoever said it's easy to find at the local hardware store must live in some other country... #3 - Bottom foregrip needs a plastic rib removed inside. This rib interferes with the metal block on the barrel that the sights are on top of. Some simple dremel work got it done. #4 - Top foregrip was difficult to get installed, and is slightly bowed in on mine due to pressure. No mods (yet) but this was difficult, and I may shave some material to get the bow out. The only real issue that I have is that the parts are NOT clearly marked USA. They all say ATI, and have a part number and the box they came in say Made in USA. But the parts themselves don't, so I don't feel confident that they meet 922r part count... All my Tapco stuff says TAPCO US. That makes me feel better.

I ordered this on Wednesday morning and by Thursday afternoon it was at my doorsteps. It was a breeze to install and makes my AK look like a total badass. I also installed a red dot sight that fits perfect to the top tube rail. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a different look and feel to their gun.

Fit my WASR-10 perfectly, no filing needed. Lower handguard was a little tricky. HUGE improvement over stock pistol grip and wood furniture. Note: stock will not lock into folded position with side rail mount installed.

Extremely easy to swap out the parts. It comes with detailed instructions that show how to slightly trim pieces and get all of the stock parts off. The pistol grip feels awesome. I'm having a problem with the cleaning rod staying in place that wasn't a problem before. Other than that, I basically have a new rifle now and would recommend this package to anyone.

This is an awesome product! I purchased it for my MAK-90, but have had no luck fitting it up. Between the stock and the pistol grip, it's all very akward. I'm going to have to return it, but I recommend this product for any AK that it will fit as it looks wonderful!
