I installed this on my 5.56 AR-15 with a UTG detachable carry handle. I installed my NcStar 4X32 Mark III Tactical scope w/ a flat top mount on it. I secured it in the space with a rubber mallet and it has stayed put ever since. I had to adjust my the flat top mount on the scope a little bit, because the width of the rail is just a hair smaller than the regular flat top/pictatinny rail. I am still able to use my iron sights while this is installed, which was my main reason in getting one of these. While shooting the mount has always stayed solid and never affected the zero of my rifle. Material is durable, and for the price...come on. I would recommend it.

For the price im am fairly pleased, the only real downside that I see is that it is made completely of plastic with the exception of the screw that holds it in place. Appears to be very sturdy, required moderate force to install but nothing that would harm or scratch the carry handle or the mount. All in all not bad.
