Got one, tested it, perfect replacement for an old follower I had on a surplus mag. I plan on changing all my surplus mag followers with these for 922R compliance, excellent buy!!

I bought two of them and have been very pleased with them! East to install and work a lot smoother than the steel followers. As for the below comments about them holding the bolt open, if they do, it's a flaw in the mag itself. The AK47 design has never been so that it's supposed to hold the bolt open. Simply isn't the case. As such, the fact that these do not hold the bolt back means they are working properly, and are an additional plus! I recommend these to anyone who needs a new one or needs compliance parts. You can't go wrong!

Great for adding a compliance part to all your magazines!!! Functions reliably... never had one stick up. Used them to replace the metal follower in 30 and 40 round surplus magazines, and they have functioned perfectly. Also holds the last round much better than the original surplus followers. It is also a great and inexpensive way to gain a compliance part, without having to use crappy american made magazines!

These Tapco composite replacement followers are great for sprucing up old surplus Eastern European steel "ridgeback" mags, especially ones with original metal followers that are bent, rusted, or gunked up with cosmoline and crud. They also work nicely in Bulgarian polymer "waffle" mags. They seem to be made of a durable yet flexible self-lubricating synthetic material, and they are even slightly lighter than the metal parts they replace. They are NOT for converting your rifle to last-shot bolt hold-open function! The AK doesn't need BHO! So get these to ensure good function in your old AK mags, but don't mess with success and try to use them to make the AK function in a way other than it was originally designed...
