This does not accomodate the Surefire L4 or Backup flashlights, which I thought were 3/4" diameter but are just a bit to big.
2.0 Rating quick release not a good thing - 1/3/2009Tdi Arms 3/4" Flashlight/Laser Mount Polymer Composite Warranty2.0000

I Bought one and mounted a laser on my xd45. It looked and felt tight till I shot the gun.The recoil knocks the mount right off the rail every time. Would probably work well on something with less recoil.
5.0 Rating Awesome - 12/2/2008Tdi Arms 3/4" Flashlight/Laser Mount Polymer Composite Warranty5.0000

This is a great little light holder and very well made. It is tight on some rail's, rendering the quick release feature useless, but on other's it fit's with precision! IMO....it must be the variance's in rail manufacturing guy's as I don't think this product is at fault.
3.0 Rating Not bad, but takes a little of work - 10/19/2008Tdi Arms 3/4" Flashlight/Laser Mount Polymer Composite Warranty3.0000

I picked this mount up to go on my WASR-10 AK with UTG's Quad Rail mount. The mount holds my flash light just great and it feels sturdy. However, it would not mount on my quad rail right away. I had to shave the mount to allow for the proper fitment. Even then, once I could get it on it takes a good amount of force to get it on or off, yet the mount feels secure. In addition as Elmer stated the quick release feature is a no go. This maybe due to the extremely tight fit. I like the mount, but I could not give it more bullets due to the need to shave, test fit, and shave again.
3.0 Rating Quick Release? - 3/22/2008Tdi Arms 3/4" Flashlight/Laser Mount Polymer Composite Warranty3.0000

Quick release? I bought this for my AR-15. It is a good holder ad have had no problems with it. But quick release, no. After pressing the button to release it, I have to tap it with a block of wood. Maybe if I sanded down the inside of the rail it would release better. However, I don't take it off my gun often so I never bothered. If you buy this for the quick release function, then be prepared to file/sand down the inside rail. On the plus side, it fits on the rail tightly.
