I bought this for my Savage modle 110 30.06 to keep some extra ammo at hand while in the field. The sleeve fits nice and snug and actually took some effort to get onto the stock. My only problem is that is doesn't seem to hold the ammo as tightly as I would like. I don't think the ammo will fall out but I will keep an eye on it so I don't lose any. I had to cut a little hole for the sling hook up.

I purchased this piece for my Knight KP1 .45-70. It is a super snug fit. I used a hot soldering pen to create opening for sling swivel stud. I only use 5 of the loops for extra cartridges. I have great access to extra rounds for the break-open action KP1. I will purchase more of these for Winchester 70 and Remington 1100. Thanks CTD.

This is moderate. The thing took me a full 30 minutes to slip over the stock of my remington 710. It really does hold 10 rounds and my 30-06 cartridges fit in snuggly. I wish the material was a little more forgiving, but thats why i gave it a 3

For less than $4 this cannot be beat. It was a tight fight over the Mosin-Nagant I put it on, but that means it won't fall off even with the roughest handling. Both the picture and the description are wrong, however, it can hold ten cartridges (not 6 or 9). The cartridges fit snugly but are easy to remove for reloading. Compared to buying stripper clips (which I've had issues with in the past) this is a steal, well worth the money.
