3.0 Rating Expect what you see - 11/30/2010
Reviewer: Ruger Nut
I purchased this gun after holding it in the store and letting my girlfriend hold it as well but come to find out it has a really long trigger pull and after firing 50 rounds at a pretty steady pace it hurts your a hand a bit, especially your trigger finger. The trigger has a little play in it so you can get your finger on it to get a feel for the tension which I don't mind. I do however notice that it is difficult to be accurate due to it's short length of sites, long trigger pull, and size for guys. It really does feel like it's not going to fire until the last minute I thought I would get used to it but after firing several hundred rounds through I realized it wasn't going to happen. If you plan on purchasing a .380 ACP I would look towards a Smith and Wesson bodyguard; it looks a bit larger and seems as though it will fit the hand better. I am going to trade in my Ruger and look at the S&W. Another cool thing about the S&W is that it comes with a laser already attached.

5.0 Rating Concealable Protection - 12/29/2011
Reviewer: Caleb
This gun is exactly what it was intended to be, a pocket pistol. It is designed to be concealable on anybody, not to be a "range gun"; so yes, your hand will hurt if you plan on shooting many rounds in one session with this gun. (Directed to the previous comments) With that said, this has got to be the best value of any pocket pistol. I looked at the Ruger, Taurus, and Kel-Tec. The trigger pull is smoother than the Kel-Tec, and ergonomics were better than the Taurus (in my opinion). It does have a slide lock, is easy to disassemble (can be done using a spent round as the 'blunt object') and clean, has an optional laser, and oh ya, it's really small!! I was also looking into the Bodyguard, but CTD was sold out and after tax I would have spent over $430 from a local dealer. With this gun after shipping and FFL transfer fee, it was around $292. With the money I save, I can buy a couple boxes of ammo, a crossbreed IWB holster, and still have money to spare. If you want a reliable, easy to conceal pocket pistol at a great value, look no further. If you want a gun that doesn't hurt your hand when you shoot it, get a large frame .22 caliber.

1.0 Rating disappointed - 6/21/2012
Reviewer: Keith
I bought this gun because of a review I read. It was the only gun I have ever owned that was a total disappointment. Jam, after jam, after jam with top shelf ammo (Winchester, Remington, Federal, etc.). I tried five different types with the same results. I bought extension mags, and that didn't help. Shot with both arms and wrists locked: jams. Wrote to Ruger and took their advice: jams. Not only is it a jammer, the trigger pull is the absolute worst. As far as accuracy, you better have it in their gut when you pull the trigger if you plan on hitting anything. I traded it for a Beretta!
