Machined from super-strong chrome moly steel tubing. The six shot extension allows for 1 extra round.

I had higher expectations. The fit and finish of the tube extension was good. The spring was junk. I noticed quite a difference in the spring supplied by TacStar and the spring by Benelli. The Benelli magazine spring was significantly longer, and stronger the new one. The TacStar spring caused misfeeding with the last shell. I replaced the TacStar magazine spring with the Benelli. I had no feeding problems, and also on a side note, I replaced the mag follower from Benelli with one out of a Mossberg 590. It gave me a 7+1 capacity of 2 3/4 shells versus a 6+1 with the standard Benelli follower.
