This paddle holster slips right into place w/o taking off my belt and stays there. I usually have to take off my belt to take it off. It has an adjustment to tighten or loosen it's hold on the firearm. The only negative is that it isn't ideal for concealment. The holster holds my XD too far away from the body; sticking out like a sore thumb under a shirt.

I Have The XDM9 And Just Now Found The Subcompact In The XD40 And I Have To Have Another Holster Just Like This One...One Came With The XDM9mm.. It Is A Very Smart And Pratcial Holster..Very Comfortable On The Wast Line..And Hold The Guns Snug To You Likeing...By Far The Best Holster I've Had On My Hip

I recently purchased a springfield xd(m)9 and this holster was included with the gun. It's definately worth buying. Slips easily into your pants but locks itself in place. Fits the gun very well and weighs practically nothing.
