Pad fits model 700 rifles with a synthetic stock from 1999 to the present. For 1997 or Newer.

Millions of tiny “super cells” form a virtual matrix of tiny cellular air chambers. This recoil pad features a smoother surface and is not “sticky”. Pad is less than half the weight of other recoil pads. Patented process consists of proprietary cellular polyurethane and is more chemically stable. Also features little to no compression “memory” and fits many current models.

I can't say if it works yet but I can say Rem. gives lousy info on how to install it (it isn't just a case of unscrewing the old and putting on the new....maybe...you have to take the old one off to find out) and what it can be installed on (don't even think about trying to install it on anything but a late model 700). Get with it Rem. and give your customers a little more info!

This product really takes the kick out of shooting my Remington 7400 30-06. I sighted in a scope just yesterday and shot over 25 rounds through the gun with no issues. My shoulder does not even hurt today, it feels fine. I would highly recommend this product if you are not used to the recoil that a 30-06 produces or if you use your rifle for target shooting

The fitment was alright. It's not an exact match. The very top and bottom of the pad, is larger than the synthetic stock of my 870. But, you're not entering a beauty contest.

I was a little leary of purchasing this products after reading some of the reviews and seeing that people were having issues with it not fitting properly. I went ahead an ordered it anyway and it fit 870 absolutely perfect and was very simple to install. I haven't shot with it yet, but as far as looks and fit goes, its perfect.

My 7mm mag had this on it when I bought it. I decided my girl friends .243 could use it seeing her recoil pad was basically a chunk of tire. She loves to shoot it now and the 7mm mag well, lets just say all the rumors about it hurting your shoulder and how you can't shoot it all day..Wrong! get a super cell its worth it! You can't beat the price.
