Great Slug For The Price. Held Good Groups Out Of My Remington 870 Slug Gun. Used Them Last Year During Iowa's 2nd Season Shot Gun And Shot 8 Deer. Drops Them On The Spot. I Think One Deer Made It 5 Steps. Look Forward To Using Them In The New Remington Super Slug Gun.

5.0 Rating Best sabot Slug - 10/31/2009
Reviewer: maineer87
I bought these and they hold a great group even at 150 yards with my Mossberg 500 with scope and rifled barrel, best with rifled barrel. If you buy these, invest in a rifled barrel. They're cheap and worth it. Good hunting.

5.0 Rating Rem Acutip slugs - 4/19/2011
Reviewer: Remo
I have used this slug, Remington AcuTip, 3in, 385 gr for the past two years in Iowa. It is extremely accurate and allowed me to cleanly take deer out to 200yds. That's right 200yds. In wide open bean fields and greater than 75yd shots you need this slug. With a serious rifled slug gun and good glass I fired 5 rounds in two years and killed 5 deer all that dropped in their tracks or never walked more than 5yds in any direction. You will not have to run down a deer using this slug if you are anywhere close to a vital area. This slug is the real deal.I have fired over 60 rds in my gun without a jam or misfire as mentioned in the other review. I suspect a weak spring or firing pin issue there. In closing if you are a slug shooter and want accuracy and you want a first round knockdown quick killing slug I recommend the AcuTip.

5.0 Rating Very accurate - 6/7/2013
Reviewer: Tom
Shot 5 rounds with my Mossberg 500 with scope. 4" group at 25 yards first 5 shots using the rifled bore. I heard these rounds kick hard so I purchased a medium sized Limbsaver so recoil wasn't bad at all. I live in Ohio where you have to deer hunt with a shotgun so these should work out well.
