this light is tiny, about the size of a cigarette, yet the light output is very bright. don't waste your time with keychain lights that are too dim to be very functional. this light is only slightly under the light output of my gladius flashlight, but fits perfectly in the pen pocket of my 5.11 shirts. i got a couple and gave some away as gifts, and they could not believe how bright it was. i am also ordering some of the longer versions that use 2 AAA batteries for longer runtime.
