The Auto Hydrostatic Inflatable PFD inflates only when it is submerged in 4" or more of water. It will not prematurely inflate due to rain, spray, or humidity. Constructed with durable 420-denier nylon and heavy-duty polyurethane-coated nylon, it features the SecureZip system that keeps the PFD closed during the most rigorous activity. It effortlessly opens upon inflation and is easy to repack. Low profile allows for maximum mobility. The neoprene ComfortCollar is soft and fits comfortably to reduce chafing around the neck. No inflator maintenance is required for 5 years unless the PFD has been inflated. Provides 35 lbs. of buoyancy. Includes strobe light holder, safety whistle, reflective tape, backup oral inflation tube, D-ring, and zippered pocket for your phone or keys. USCG approved type II/Commercial type V.
