TAPCO designed their SKS Detachable Magazines with serious shooters in mind. The mag body, made of high strength composite, has horizontal grooves cut into it for an enhanced gripping surface. They’ve used the highest quality interior components and incorporated a metal floorplate so you can expect maximum strength from this magazine. That, plus the fact that this mag is made in the USA so it counts for three 922r compliance parts, you could say we’ve really thought of everything.

Can be used in factory wooden stocks by filing the inside of the magazine well on the wooden stock, in order to accommodate the wider polymer magazine.

Fairly pleased with this product. Had to file the stock slightly, but that was to be expected. It also seems that the trigger grouping on one of my Yugos doesn't want to mesh well with the mags, though my other Yugo is fine, so maybe it's a fluke. Cycled 5 groups of 21 rounds (20 in mag, 1 in chamber) by hand to test. It had slight feeding issues early on, but they seemed to go away after a liberal application of oil to the bore and mag. My only real issue is durability; they seem to get chewed up rather easily when then make contact with metal. I am planning on purchasing more of these mags.

I read a lot about these and was super excited to convert my SKS to take detachable mags. Item shipped very fast but I was disappointed at the fact I spent 30 mins with a Dremel on my trigger assembly and the actual mag to make it fit and function properly. Overall pleased, but might try out another mag before ordering more.
