Item does not function as expected. I thought, given the catalog designation (Magazine X-tension) that it would fit onto the bottom of the magazine, extending the length for a better grip. This is actually a magazine sleeve (as noted on the packaging) which is only useful for already over-sized magazines. If this is what you are looking for, this product seems to be well-made. However, magazines that are already flush-fit will not be able to lock into the gun with this item attached. Users who, like me, want the latter feature, should probably look at item #11593. (That item is called a "Grip Extension" which is what I would have called this. Maybe it's just me?)
