This item does what it says it will, but I'm not a huge fan of the fact that it's made from plastic and brass. Any real rough handling and you can throw it away. I bought a military issue steel one for my range kit and keep this one in my BOB for emergency field adjustments.

Got this started adjusting the sights on my wasr and before completing ended up breaking the brass form the polymer. Better off buying a metal sight adjuster with both adjustment devices.

If you know what your doing there shouldn't be a problem. If you are looking to use this particular tool on a Chinese norinco sks then you will need to perform some modifications. As long as your patient you shouldn't have any trouble. If you can't even use this sight tool once then you don't know what you're doing and are more than likely forcing the tool through the top hole of the front sight post. I had to file down the top hole on the front sight post ever so slightly and take some steel wool to thin down the surrounding plastic to make it fit. Every sks isn't made the same. The quicker you realize that the better you will become on performing the basic functions.

Just received the product yesterday. Works well, no issues as the per the prior reviews I have read. Not really something I would recommend, wish it was all steel/brass...

If you use this tool easily, it will do its job, but if you use any force on this tool it will deteriorate quickly. The tips were bent up a bit the first time i used it. It still works, but I would not suggest it for someone that would be using it in a pinch.
