Its definitely a good buy, provides great cheek support, I put some velcro (soft side) on it where my cheek rests, provides comfort. A little difficult to figure out how to install but you'll get it. The battery container plugs are a little loose and they fall out a lot but you can tie some string or something to them. Overall a great buy for the money.

hard to figure out how to mount at first but is light weight and sturdy and gives you that extra check rest to slowly squeeze off the kill shot

Mine went on in about 5 minutes on my S&W M&P15. This thing is solid as a rock. Unlike the guy a few reviews before mine, I had no trouble and made no modifications to my gun. I would blame his gun design and not the product. I have gone on two outings with this thing mounted and I think that it it comfortable and made it easy to look down my red dot scope and hold target. If I get another AR style rifle, I will buy another one of these.

Dont hesitate, just buy it. greatly improved my accuracy, because of the perfect cheek weld. It fit like a glove with the tapco t6 butt pad. Really changed the look of my cheesie looking stock.

After buying a hogue grip, this is the second cheapest thing you can get to improve your AR. Forget the $100 Vltor modstock, this is all you need. Easy to install.
