I got two of these to have some fun at the range. Neither has a spring that has enough energy in it to advance each round. They jam up, have to be removed, tapped on a hard surface to raise the next round. Additionally, one of the two has a warped plastic bullet holder that makes it completely useless. If I'm lucky, my range's gunsmith may have a more energetic spring to replace the lousy one. I may find it usable -- maybe... The bottom shoe is unattached to the spring, so when you clean the magazine, be careful to not lose the plate parts. Given the cost of shipping, it's too expensive to send them back to CTD for a refund. DO NOT buy! They are junk.

I bought two of these for the range -- for the fun of it. One works so-so, but the other won't advance rounds properly. The round remains jammed deep in the magazine, until you bang it on the counter to release the tension. The spring is insufficient for the numbers of rounds it's expected to move upward. Cleaning this magazine is unpleasant. The spring, which is unattached to the bottom plate as in other magazines, sends that plate flying across the room. The bottom plate that secures the parts is very cheap and flimsy. Its edges are sharp, so watch for "paper cuts" when breaking this mag down for cleaning or adjusting. I would return both of them if I had not spent so much on the shipping. It's just not worth it. Maybe I can find a gunsmith who can fix what ails these magazines. They are about the cheapest product I've seen in a while -- pure "made in China" at its worst. I cannot recommend this product unless you have not frustrated yourself recently and really want to do so!

Bought this for my S&W 5903 police trade in. Worth it if you don't mind fiddling with it for about 30 mins to modify it and make sure it fits the gun. I have one for my xd and glock no problem, but this one the hole for the mag catch inside the gun was off with a tape measure drill and drill bit and a sharpie took care of it in about half an hour. Got the gun to catch the mag and has worked well ever since, but that's why I only gave it 3 bullets.

When i first tried loading the magizine the rounds just popped out the top,, after a little adjustment with a pair of needle nose it held fine. It holds all 30 and passes it through the clip just fine, Way funner than a standard clip.
