The Counter Tac II Boot Knife is a beautifully designed and crafted knife. The full tang blades are made from polished AUS 8A stainless steel, that's vacuum heat treated, and sub zero quenched for strength. They are hollow ground and end in a sturdy but needle sharp point that's ideal for effortless penetration, and of course the edge is razor sharp. The ergonomic design of the Kraton grip is comfortable and adaptable to any fighting style and the deeply textured surface and double guard will insure that the knife is not likely to slip from your hand under any circumstances.

This is a pretty wicked little blade. Great handle, though not a whole lot to fit in my big hands. But that's what I was looking for: just a small defense knife, I could easily conceal just about anywhere. Excellent sheath, too. The SecurEx sheaths are very versatile. The only qualm I had with this little blade, was the hollow grind. I didn't really pay attention to that part of the description, so when I received the knife and the cool looking little blood groove was on one side, and the other side is just straight flat, I was a little disappointed. But it's an excellent blade shape for strength and thrusting maneuvers. Great little carry dagger.
