After being burned many times by ProMag, I switched to factory magazines only for the cheaper guns and have been nothing but pleased. Avoid ProMag - they build excrement. Some of their magazines cause receiver damage. Ask BeeMiller Corporation (who owns Hi-Point) if you don't believe me. Extremely reliable. This is the second pile of factory magazines I've bought for my .45 and 9mm Hi-Point carbines. They seem to pretty much "just work." Light load, hollow point, whatever, just as long as your cartridge OAL is right. 4 bullets, not five, due to no reliable high cap options. Factory is 9 or 10. This is all you get. They DO work reliably, though.

I brought this mag just to have another one, it fits perfect and had no problems out of it. It works just as good as the original one that came with the gun.

ORDERED THREE MAGS TO PRACTICE TAC RELOADS. THE SPRINGS WERE IN BACKWARDS IN THE FIRST TWO; THE FOLLOWER JAMS IN THE THIRD. ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINS LATER- ALL WORKING SLICK. GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, I GUESS.

What can I say? It holds nine rounds and then allows them to be thrown out of the pistol at an amazing speed. It wins!

I bought this for my .45 so I would have an extra, as the gun only came with one. It was out of stock for the longest time, and I was just looking around on the site one day and just decided to check, hell yeah, there it was. It's a great mag. I mean, it's the same magazine that came with the gun, so it's hard to mess it up. The best thing about that .45 is that it holds 9 I guess that's the standard for today, but there was a time when just about every .45 I heard of only held 7. Sweet. Great Buy, even cheaper than on the actual hi-point site.
