Every Varmint Express cartridge is hand inspected before leaving our factory, ensuring there are no cosmetic flaws and imperfections. Each cartridge is loaded to ensure optimal pressure, velocity, accuracy and lot-to-lot consistency. Hornady produces most of the brass for Hornady Varmint Express ammunition. All of the brass is chosen to ensure it meets our high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures. Like the powder, each primer is carefully matched to individual loads, and all are chosen for their ability to quickly, completely and reliably ignite the powder charge.

Match grade jacket design provides maximum accuracy at all ranges.
Explosive expansion, even at low velocities.

i've killed 31 consecutive coyotes with the 45 gr. sp, all immediate kills, unlike the faster and smaller gr. ammo. I have 1/2 m.o.a. accuracy with the 45 gr. hornady, fired from a New England single shot rifle.

Believe it or not, this soft-oint is more accurate than the ballistic tips. Besides reloads its the best .204 round on the market...Hornady consistency!!
