5.0 Rating great gun for the money - 9/14/2007
Reviewer: phil
This is a very high quality gun for the price. It feels and looks like a real pistol and the red dot sight is actually functional and not worthless. After adjusting the red dot sight its pretty much point and click, the pellet goes right where the dot is. The only downside is the somewhat awkward cocking motion. There is nowhere (with the sight in the way) to really apply pressure with your palm to cock the gun but you can wear a glove or just tough it. Definitely will wear out your hands after a long shooting session. Trigger and hammer seem to be made of metalized plastic but the internal construction looks indestructible. Safety automatically reset after you open the action. This gun shoots hard for a pistol and will penetrate cans with pointed pellets. Definately satisfied with this purchase as it is a huge step up from the marksman repeater bb pistol I was using for indoor plinking at a reasonable price.

3.0 Rating Trigger Problem - 10/14/2007
Reviewer: Johnny J.
This air pistol ROCKS as far as accuracy and consistant shot groups! However during my initial zero procedure the pistol would occasionally fail to fire every third or fourth shot...felt like the trigger was against a wall...finally THIS pistol failed to fire at all. Am in the process of returning this unit for another. The iron sights are highly adjustable, and the red dot is very nice too! The cocking process is a bit of a chore and loading a single pellet in the breech will test your patience(with flat nose pellets). The pistol looks and feels like a lighter version of a Desert Eagle auto-mag. If my replacement unit fuctions properly this Pistol is definitely a keeper in spite of a few quirks.

5.0 Rating NEW pistol, no problems - 10/29/2007
Reviewer: Johnny J.
Trigger problem part 2: It only took a week to get my replacement pistol and this one works perfectly. It will hit where you aim it. Cheaper than dirt gave me no problems with my return and all involved were very helpful and professional. Stick with pointed pellets as they are easier to load. Otherwise...no worries. Now if we could only get 'Cheaper' to find and sell some more of that Czech x54R Silver Tip surp ammo!

4.0 Rating Great But Quirky - 3/14/2008
Reviewer: Benny
I got one of these-I have a lot of other air guns of all types. It's a 4-plus, but here are some tips and comments. The cocking is murder on the hand-very hard to close up, and the sharp sight can tear you up. TIP: I cut out the entire front of an old leather shoe and put it against the gun when I cock it. Problem solved!! No cocking issue anymore!!. The gun is shockingly accurate with the red dot. It has a good feel, and is a fair substitute, shooting it in the basement, for going to the range with real my firearms when that is inconvenient. I have also had the occasional failure to charge/fire. Must be a sporadic air leak. I read about the rear O-ring being a problem falling out and getting lost. I checked mine-the O-ring is in place (where the rear of the barrel locks up), so I don't know the cause.
