The first one I received had wear marks around the barrel. They replaced it for free, including shipping. If I didnt have to have mine replaced I would have given 5 bullets. Nonetheless it was great for the money. Fits great and looks great. Would recommend.

this barrel is well worth the money, great fit and finish is a match to my 870 super mag. went from a bird killer, to a zombie killer!. only thing though there were a few little stratches but who cares it is a shotgun!

I got this for my home security gun. Installed on the 870 with ease, syntech stock, shell tube expander, and thats abit long, 3/4 inch longer than the Barrel but after I put on the muzzle brake, no problem in that area. I have yet fired it, but all the 12's, 16's so I have fired over the years, I'd expect abit of a hammering w/18.5 inches and cyl choke, but I'm not shooting birds with it as it is, maybe some skeet as it looks a bit like an old skeet gun I used to shoot, and if your gonna breaking at 3am be prepared for the worse reception you'd ever expect. I know I am a lot more at ease with it in tight spaces now more than before with a 30incher. Thanks CTD for a good product/deal.

I think this barrel is awesome. It works like a charm and fits really good. It scraches pretty easy but your not supposed to lay it on the ground any way right?:)

Great product for the price.Why pay more for the same product when this accomplishes the same thing? Extremely prompt shipment from Cheaper Than Dirt! Ordered and arrived 3 days later. So far have not been disappointed with any products or service from CTD!

Can't beat this barrel for the price. Fits perfectly and was easy to attach. Fits perfectly with my +2 magazine extension so now I can have 6 +1 shells in the shotgun and magazine extension is still an inch or so clear from the end of the barrel. If you are planning on adding a +2 magazine extension I would definately suggest this barrel over the 18" model. I am buying a second barrel for my dad right now. Thanks CTD.

Remington 870 express: This is a good home defense barrel, especially when matched with a 7 shot magazine extender. A great substitute to spending $150+.

i got this barrel with my folding butt stock and forearm, it looks great but does scratch really easy i had to reblue marks on it when i took it out of the package. my remington 870 express magnum with the stock folded is now the same length as the barrel alone that came with the gun. i can still add a 2 round magazine cap and be clear of the barrel. its a great buy, just watch out scratches on the barrel.
