Read numerious reviews but never took it for my final choice of heat shields, went to gun shows and seen the other brands of shields. People do yourself a favor and spend the few exta dollars for this product (well worth it) fit is perfect and easy to install and STAYS ON.

Bought this for the Maverick 88, it fits absolutely perfectly without any modifications. It is sturdy, tight fitting & matches the shotgun perfectly. I am glad I waited to buy this one over the generic shields, it is much better.

After reading reviews on all sorts of heat shields I decided to go with this one made by Mossberg. The finish looks great and it's a nice and sturdy heat shield. Installing it wasn't too bad. Make sure you have the heat shield lined up and positioned right before you tighten it down. I used a knife to cut the plastic spacer and it wasn't too bad. I also filed it down to clean it up. Overall great product and holds strong.

This is a very good product - the welds are strong, the sheet steel is thick, and it fits my Mossberg like a glove. If you're thinking about a heat shield, skip the cheap ATI crap and buy an OEM Mossberg part, especially since the Mossberg shield is cheaper than the ATI. It's heavy duty and built to last.

It was just as I expected it to be awesome! The spacers pretty cool it wont move forward and looks awesome.. BUT...! the installation was a freaking pain! The screw holes were to far apart so I had to squeeze the shield with pliers. Then the pliers slipped and I crushed my thumb giving my self a blood blister so cause of that 4/5 bullets for me, but still a GOOD product.
