With the 165 Gr. ammo, I have taken 2 whitetail bucks in KY. without tracking further than 3 steps...my nephew has killed 4 deer with same gun and ammo...Thompson Encore. No tracking needed, of the 6 deer harvested 4 bullets were recovered. Total absorbtion of energy...only two pass thrus. Only because they were small to medium size does. I am a very happy hunter, love the knock down and bullet retention. Holland Higgs Cagiz, Ky.
