I was skeptical of these functioning well in my Desert Eagle, but I've put a whole box through my gun and had no jams what so ever.

These .44MAG rounds were typical Federal American Eagle, good economical ammo that fuctioned flawlessly in both my Desert Eagle MK-VII and my father's S&W Model-29. However, they are not the high velocity line of American Eagle rounds as advertised. They are the 240gr JSF rounds, but they have a muzzle velocity of only 1270 fps NOT 1440fps. Not a big deal for target shooting, but if your looking to stock up on some full power .44 MAG these are only intermediate power loads.

I use these rounds for target shooting and hunting. I've dropped deer on the run with one shot out of my lever gun with these. They have more than enough power for white tail. Blows a cloud of fur off when they hit too.

I have had overall great results with American Eagle in the past, so when I recently purchased a .44 Desert Eagle I grabbed 10 boxes of this ammunition. Sadly over half the time it will not fully cycle the slide on my pistol and fails to feed the next round.

Hog hunters...here it is! These make right at 1800fps out of my lever gun, and dang near field dress the pigs on-the-spot. DRT...! I'm sure whitetails under 100 yds would fare no better...
