I have tested this brand and this type of shell and compared it to Winchesters best and I must say I could not believe the destruction the Black Cloud made. The penetration was impressive to say the least. I labeled and shot at an old Maytag Neptune washer skin or sheet metal cover with several loads of comparable Winchester steel expert brand and the Black Cloud brand. The Winchester bounced off a lot of the sheet metal where the Black Cloud went through both sides of the sheet (2 sheets of 20 gauge or so) and then the bbs lodged themselves in a wooden pole that was 10 feet beyond the washer. Not to mention the center hole that the Black Cloud made and the Winchester did not make. (It was a close range test) I was so surprised that my prized Expert steel loads from Winchester were so wimpy. I will use them for clay pigeons until I run out of them. For now I’m restocking my supply with Black Cloud. I think it’s well worth the price. Happy Hunting!
