I've had this for about a year on a Mossberg 500, a 9mm pistol with a bridge mount, and a .22 rifle. It has held zero on all of them. The battery life is decent for a budget scope. I left it on for about 17 days on 6/11 brightness (which is still bright enough to see unless you are looking at snow on a sunny day) and only then was it starting to show significant dimness (I checked it a few times per day). Overall I'd recommend this for its nice features (smaller dot, parallax-free, small size) at the relatively low price. Go much cheaper end you will likely end up with a larger dot and lots of parallax, while going more expensive will potentially get you more durability for some models, but mostly battery life.
