I don't feel the need to carry a box of shells into the woods and I hope that I never need to rapid re-load my M-77. This product holds 30-06 rounds very snug and is a great way to transport and protect my expensive ammo until needed. PS.. CTD rocks!! best selection and prices that I can find, and snow cant even slow down delivery

This holsters sucks, but Uncle Mike does make some pretty good accesories and bags. The belt loops are sturdy and the elastic cartridge loops are strong. I find if I wear mine at about 5:30 on my waist (above my right back pocket, shooting right handed) that reloads are readily available even sitting or prone and in this position the carrier doesnt interfere with a rifle slung over my right shoulder or a backpack.

CTD great shipping as usual. I spent close to $700 on ordering a bunch of stuff, and this little thing was one of my favorites. Combine this with a the 6 rifle shell butt stock holder, 4 shells in my Remington 700 and I can carry a whole box of .308 with me with easy access. No more digging in my pockets for shells. Loved it.
