Only one trip to the range the front cradle and pad were burned badly from firing a revolver. If I had been warned of this problem I would have taken steps to shield the affected areas. Buy a better rest and save money!

For the money, this can't be beat. I prefer it as a rifle rest more than the handgun, it seems to work better for a long gun. It is light and will move upon recoil of anything more than a .22, but it is manageable and cheaper than dirt. Adjustment range is more than adequate.
