Spear Point Glass Filled Nylon M16, Partially Serrated Edge -
Carson Glass Filled Nylon M16 Knife Series features: AUS4 stainless steel blade, dual checkered thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening and Carson Flipper, contoured and drilled Glass Filled Nylon handle scales over 420J2 stainless steel InterFrame, LinerLock, Lake and Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS), and removable pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. Available plain or partially serrated with spear point, small tanto and large tanto blade.

Spear Point Blade -
The classic stabbing blade is the spear point which can have two edges sharpened or only one with a false edge on the spine. The spear point usually has both edges taper equally to a point that is exactly in the center of the blade but sometimes has different profiles for the spine and edge.

420J2 Stainless Steel -
420J2 is a low carbon stainless steel and also the entry grade of cutlery class stainless steel that is available. It is quite tough and resistant to corrosion. It has low wear resistance making it a very easy to shape and sharpen blade steel.

LAWKS® -
Many CRKT folders feature the patented Lake and Walker Knife Safety system. This system converts folders into virtual fixed blades when the blade is opened and locked, and when the LAWKS lever is slid forward. To fold the knife, simply slide the lever back, and release the liner.

Ambidextrous -
Using both hands with equal ease. Pertaining to knives, it is a knife that is not solely designed for a left or right handed person but can be used with equal ease by both hands.

I had a Gerber liner lock close on my finger and slice me to the bone. You'll never have to worry about that with this beauty. It has a wonderful blade lock that makes it nearly impossible to have that happen. The steel is very strong and the pivot is very smooth. It locks like a beartrap and is as solid as a tank. The heft gives it a good feel in the hand. The spearpoint blade works surprisingly well not just for piercing and general cutting, but also is a sweet carver too. I've carved many Bow Drill kits with it from rough forest material.

best knife i've ever owned. belt clip screws work loose. a drop of super glue on each screw solves the problem. easy to sharpen,holds great edge. i have three, will put one in all field,tackle and camp boxes.
