I just picked this up as an alternative to an ACOG, and I must say im very pleased with it. I read a review about a slightly canted crosshair and mine is simular (hence only 4 stars). I popped this puppy on my Socom 16 and so far after 200 rounds it has held its zero, and not come loose. It has an unlimited eye relief so for those with Socom 16s or varients it works well with the forward rail. It is however designed as a pistol and shotgun sight (according to the box) but if it can handle a 12 gauge it can handle a .308 Great price great product. Another good buy.

I put this sight on my bushmaster AR-15 and it was very accurate. I agree, if your just using this sight for recreation it's perfect.

I had originally ordered this for my M&P 15 .22, but after getting it out of the box and seeing how solid it is I opted to set it on my WASR 10 instead. I like it even better than my Bushnell Holosight and it's about $100 cheaper to boot. It is a little heavy for a sight of this type but not so much as to be a serious hinderance. If anything, the added weight only inspires confidence in the optics durability. If you're in the market for a hearty site that won't break the bank this puppy's a big time winner.

bought this sight after a lot of shopping around and mounted it on my maddi ak via the top rail of my utg 4 rail fore grip. sighted in at 30 yards and can pinhole at 100 in the rain. why spend the money for an acog, eotech or aimpoint when you can have a comperable sight for way less and have a lot of money for whats really important, ammo. at the going rate, i saved enough money for 2700 rounds. mmmmmmm shooting

The moment I opened the box and tried to put the battery in, the screw-on battery cap simply fell off. I cannot tell if the cap/base is stripped is simply poorly machined. In any event, CTD's great customer service got me an RMA and it's on its way back. If they had more in stock I'd be willing to try another one, but as they are backordered now I'll look for another sight.
