As the number one riflescope innovator in the world, Bushnell has worked diligently with law enforcement and military experts nationwide to design, test, and produce the finest family of tactical shooting instruments in the industry. The Bushnell Tactical Elite 1x32 is the latest example, with an illuminated red/green T-dot reticle that provides fast target acquisition and accuracy in dim conditions. The Zoom Dot option gives you the ability to tune the size of your aiming point down to one MOA for precision shooting all the way up to 10 MOA for close quarters. The scope's Amber-Bright lens coating, meanwhile, quickly helps you distinguish between a brown tree and a brown critter, making it useful for shooting on autumn days.

The scope offers such additional features as tactical turrets for rapid adjustment, a blacked-out finish for optimum concealment, an auto shutoff based on the position of your gun, and a 100-percent waterproof/fogproof/shockproof construction. When the stakes are at their highest, trust your shot to Bushnell.

3.0 Rating bushnell takes a step backward - 2/15/2008

After a lot of shopping around I really wanted the eotech but couldn't justify that much money for a sight so I settled for this one. I havn't got it sighted in right yet but I thought I'd leave some info about it. At first glance it seems much more cheaply put together than the picture would lead on. it takes a watch battery and unless your eye is the perfect distance from the lens the crosshairs are blurry and out of focus. For what I paid for this I really expected a little more. I'll write another review when I know how it holds it's zero but if you're on the wall with this one you should hold out for a better quality sight.

4.0 Rating Champagne sight on beer budget, 3/1/2008 - 3/1/2008
Reviewer: Stormin'
Fretted for a while before purchasing Bushnell's Trophy red/green dot sight (only it's not a dot, but a 'T' reticle). I have mine mounted on an AK, and after 5,000 or so rounds the sight worked loose from the base, and the optic took a 5 foot drop onto rocky high desert ground with no visible damage. It was easy to fix: Loc-Tite'd the mounting screws from the sight to the base, and the problem is solved. This sight has always held its zero, even after several shooting sessions and multiple shooters. The Loc-Tite field repair did not change zero noticeably, even when checked against my laser boresighter. Everyone who usesd it liked the sight, finding it quick and easy to acquire targets and make consistant hits out to 250-300 yards, thanks to the graduated 'T' reticle. Accuracy was great for a non-magnified optic, with 2-3" groups the norm (even for beginners) at 100 yards. While it is quite a bit spendier than some other red dots I own, it is a LOT less than the ACOG they seem to be trying to mimic. The off-brand, cheapie 30-40mm tube red dots I have seem pretty accurate and hardy, and some have served me well for 8+ years, but they are not especially durable, cool or trendy looking, and they eat batteries way faster than the Bushnell. I have not babied this optic by any means, and my only real complaint is that the lens covers are not attached to the scope with any type of leash system, and can be slow and bothersome to remove from the sight; they are made of a tough but pliable rubber-like material. Having said all that, I'm gonna buy another one of these sights, and this time I'm gonna Loc-Tite the mounting screws first!

4.0 Rating Love this sight - 4/17/2008
Reviewer: Great for AR
I mounted this on my S&W M&P15T and LOVE it. Sight is super fast to acquire to the target and the dual color reticles are great. I have the flip up sights on my AR and the rear sight is PERFECTLY contoured to the eye piece. I can use my flip up iron sights as a backup right through this sight without any problems. The T-dot reticle is a lot easier to use then I first thought it would be. I made really fast work on a paper target at 50 yds with this site. Sub 1" group with practice ammo and near rapid fire. I know there are better sights out there (hence the 4 star rating) but for the money, this is an excellent sight and a lot easier to shoot than straight iron sights. Really easy to sight in too.

5.0 Rating Excellent! - 9/30/2008
Reviewer: Jeffrey
This is what you should buy if you cannot afford an acog or eotech. There is no eye relief since no magnification and can be mounted as far forward as you like. It absolute co-witnesses with BUIS! Will also word with a magnifier! The brightest red setting does get a little blurry but I have never needed to go that bright. The green setting is perfect for low light. After sighting in, I took it of rifle and dropped it on hard ground and it was still dead-on! Try that with NcStar. The second generation of this scope has better battery life. (tip- the second generation scope has iron sight system molded into top of the scope). ACOG is better, but thats $1000......
