I have used several other magazines in my 1911 such as chip mccormick and of course the factory mags. These are better than anything I have used, they feed good with no jams. The factory mags only feed FMJ and won't feed HP while the chip mccormick would feed HP. They would occasionally FTF and need help. The groove in the follower helps to avoid "nose dive" of the bullet as it leaves the mag.

I purchased this mag at a local gun shop and I was very impressed with its performance in my Kimber Custom II. It loads much smoother and easier than my factory mag or any other that I have for that matter. Kind of up there in the price range but I definitely enjoy playing around with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who owns a 1911. Very good engineering on Wilson Combat's part.

These mags are great. They load easy and make cycling the cartidge into your 1911 reliable everytime. Yes they do cost more but when it comes to competition shooting or personal defense close quarters combat shooting there is no price on reliablitiy. I use these in my Springfield trophy match 5" and I wouldn't choose any other mag.

I bought two of these mags from my local gun store and they work flawlessly in my Springfield GI 5" 1911A1. They are easy for me to load when compared to the stock mag that came with it. Altough they are very pricey I would say they are worth it.
