The Cold Steel has Safe Maker I Push Fixed Knife the finest commercially made push knife in the world. The blade, shaft, and T shaped tang are all drop forged from one piece of AUS 8A stainless steel. This process, though costly, eliminates any unwanted sharp edges or surfaces that would irritate the hand or fingers when the knife is clasped in a closed fist, and it produces a better knife, since the subsequent vacuum heat treatment and sub zero quench, renders the blades virtually unbreakable.

First off the blade is a chisel grind sharpened on only one side just like a Benchmade push dagger.The other side is just flat. Seems like they want to save a few bucks with a chisel grind . It is still very sharp-shaves hair. Would pay another $20 bucks or so for a true dagger style grind but oh well. Fits hand very good and sheath feels right tightness. This knife is same overall lenght as an opened 2.5 inch folding knive I have but weighs less and is more effective for self defense. Satisfied.

I bought this knife back a few weeks ago. It is plenty sharp; and the sheath is made of what seems a durable plastic for its intended use. Sheath holds knife very securely,but realeases it with slight force. I wear on belt under jacket on non-dominant hand. Would use as defensive weapon in case of physical attack. Handle easy to grip, hold...punching someone w/this little blade in face should give you advantage in hand to hand struggle. Nice "ace up your sleeve" to speak. Perfect for urban concealment out on the town.

this knife came to me in a box. a plain box. but inside was a handle. a great handle covered in a rubber that texture just grabbed my hand, and on that handle was a blade, a shiny, sharp, beautiful blade that cuts through anything ive asked it to. truly a piece of art. truly a reliable peice.
