Bought this and the heavy machete. about 8 months ago. Beaten the hell out of both of them and they both look damn near brand new. Only problem with the sheath is that its sorta awkward to put the blade back in. Also you HAVE to unsnap the snaps yourself. You cannot just yank the blade and hope the snaps undo by themselves. But on the plus side the blade will NEVER fall out on its own. Not even if you were being held upside down and shaken by the big white thing from Empire Strikes Back.
