I used this on two hogs; sows in the 170 lb range. Both shot at 150 yds with entry low in shoulder. Exit was 3" hole with massive injury internally. Neither hit the heart but both animals dropped when hit - one never moved and the second just kicked its legs a bit. Bullets performed with remarkable power as advertised for these solid copper bullets so that next time, I'll drop down to 150 or even 110 gr heads for meat hogs.

I have used several types of big game ammo, but this Federal ammo is the best I have ever used. Every deer I have ever shot has never gone more than 3, maybe 4 steps before dropping, if they even went that far. An exceptional round, for the hunter who demands the best.

Definatly the most accurat bullet iv ever shot. I usually use Remington corloct at the range i was verry dissapointed with myself everytime i would walk down range to see no grouping whatso ever. Then i bought the Barnes TSX i then went to the range i put three down range at two hundred yard walked down to see what i did and when i got their i saw three bullet holes each touching each other. After that i thought it was a fluke so i dialed the sights one inch up for it was shooting low. i put three more down range and walked back down and saw two bullets touching and one only a centimeter from the others. I have not shot an animal with this bullet yet but i did allot of reserch and i am expecting their killing power will be just as good as their awsome acuracy.

These cartridges are expensive, but unbelievably accurate! I shot these the first time this year sighting in a new rifle. Patterned 5 within 1" at 100 yds. Then dropped a 10 pt Whitetail on the run, one shot. Solid bullet shocked well, expanded well and did not fold over.
