I ordered three of these, based on the previous review that they were, in fact, the factory Colt magazines. I am happy to report they are the exact same magazines that came with my Colt 1911 from the factory - prancing horse and all. Couldn't be happier. And the price is way better than any of the local stores. 5 bullets all the way!

I wish I had ordered more :(. The picture doesn't do a good job of showing detail. I ordered one to keep the risk at a low if it was the wrong one. I have a Colt Series 80 Mark IV Gov model and this mag is a perfect match to the original down to the prancing horse and COLT 45 AUTO 8-RD engraved on the bottom, and has the 6 VIEW HOLES, NOT 5 as in the picture.
