2.0 Rating Dirty! - 12/28/2007
Reviewer: McJoe
Been through a couple boxes of this stuff, both in .357 and .38 +p. No problems with misfires, but man does it burn dirty! I spent 2 hours cleaning the fouling rings off the cylinder face of my Ruger. Also got a couple hot cinders out of the cylinder/barrel gap, one of which burned my face pretty good. WEAR GLASSES! Too bad they aren't selling it for 25 bux a box anymore, that's the only reason I'd buy it again. Otherwise, not worth it, go with Federal, Winchester, S&B, or Magtech for practice, IMO.

5.0 Rating Best defense round period! - 2/2/2008
Reviewer: 5 Star rating
Not sure about the other post but according to http://www.internetarmory.com/handgunammo.htm This round is the has the best 1 shot stopping rating of not only .357's but any other caliber. I have shot this round for years and have never had a single problem. Plus at a little over $50 per 100 it is a very good price for .357 ammo. The only problem is stores keeping it in stock, which in its self says something about the value of this ammo.

3.0 Rating Actually... - 2/10/2008
Reviewer: McJoe
I said it burns dirty. nothing more. It was worth it when the price was 21 dollars a box, but I'm guessing that was a mistake. Also, when I ordered this item, it was a Semi Jacketed Soft Point, not a true JHP. And no, they did not claim this SPECIFIC round to be the best personal defense round. What the article claims is that a 125 grain JHP .357 magnum round is one of the best home defense rounds. Again, the product I got when ordering this item turned out to be a SJSP, not a JHP. Personally I'd take a Brass Jacket over a soft point, for personal defense, for better penetration with the lighter 125 grain bullet (Remington Golden Sabers are my favorite). And for hunting Use the 158 grain.

5.0 Rating Fast bullet - 9/17/2008
Reviewer: Tedak
This load runs at 1309 fps out of my 2-1/2" model 66 S&W, compared to 1196 fps for the Federal 125 gr JHP (also a semi-JHP). The blast and flash are more significant with the Remington, but it is the load that is on record as having the best street results. If you are feeding a J-frame .357, the Federal load or the 125gr Golden Saber may be a more acceptable choice.

5.0 Rating Shoots Straight & Clean - 3/15/2011
Reviewer: Darrell S
Not sure why these rounds got such a low rating with other reviewers. Shot true out to 25 yards out of my 2.5" S&W 686 Plus and my Chiappa Rhino. Great deal on 100 rounds.
