In a TC White Mountain Carbine with the crummy factory buckhorn sights, these shoot about 1" groups @ 50 yards; about 3" at 100 yards, using 80 gr of 3F. With better sights or a scope, I could probably cut these groups in half.

these bullets are WORST one for being accurate in a THOMPSON HAWKINS .50 cal . they will fly all over targets,dont waste your time with them. 38 years experience with muzzleloaders. stay away from MAXI-HUNTER bullets.

These fly extremely well in my Hawkens flintlock with good accuracy, load easily and have not had any deer get away. I shot three deer with them and they did not go far. All went through the deer, leaving a short blood trail(less than fifty yards).

I used these bullets the first year hunting with a black powder rifle. I had lots of misses. They didnt seem all that accurate. I actually hit two deer and were unable to recover them. I switched to a remington saboted bullet and havent had any problems since then. I personally wouldn't recomend these bullets but maybe someone else will have better luck with them.
