2.0 Rating maxihunter conicals - 11/15/2006
Reviewer: Dave
I shoot a number of different muzzleloaders. All kinds actually from flintlocks, percussion, and inlines. I've tried the maxi hunters out of the following twists as well. 1:24, 1:28, 1:32, 1:48, & 1:66. While some people report real good luck shooting the maxi hunters, I can not say the same. Out of about everything I have tried them in accuracy was not the best. Long range accuracy for hunting was unacceptable. I just have better luck with other projectiles then these.

2.0 Rating I returned 4 packs - 12/22/2006
Reviewer: Danny Racheau
I tried 2 full packs, 40 shots total. Started @ 70 Grs. Vol. Of Triple 7 FFG power and 209 Remington Kleanbore Primers. Ave speed for 5 shot @ 1412 FPS. 5 shot group 5" @ 50 yards. Best 3 @ 3" center to center. Then loaded 75 Grs. Ave speed 1456. Group opened up a little. Then loaded 80 Grs. Ave. Speed @ 1509 Group about the same. The 85 Grs speed @ 1536 Group ! What can I say, there were no group. Then I jump to 95 Grs. of power Speed was still climing so I was burning all the power Speed for the 3 shot group was @ 1578. No Group. Then I went back to the 70 Grs. of power Did not Chronograph them Went for grop only. Clead Gun between every shot. Best 3 shot group 2 1/2" at 50 yards. 6" ay 100 yards. I can not hunt with a 6" group at 100 yards. I returned the other 4 packs. I shoot a CVA with a 1 in 28 . It did not like the Maxi hunter. Danny

5.0 Rating great results - 11/9/2008
Reviewer: Saldivar family
this year I was home for Muzzleloader season, my boys and I used maxi-hunter bullets and traditions muzzleloaders. five bullets were shot and four deer came home with us (I missed). the knockdown power of this bullets makes it easy to recover the deer. I recomend these bullets to anyone who don't like tracking wounded deer. (2008 Arkansas Muzzleloader season)
