12 Gauge, Lightfield Commander IDS Magnum, 3 1/2", 1-3/8 ounce Impact Discarding Saboted Slug, 5 Round Box.

The Lightfield IDS Commander was designed as a high velocity, extremely stable, extended range Sabot Slug for use in modern rifled barrel shotguns. The patented design incorporates an impact-discarding Sabot that aids stability in the wind and produces a controlled expansion slug for deeper penetration.

Velocity at 100 yards: 1244 fps.

Best word to describe these slugs is amazing! I went boar hunting in the fall of 08 using these slugs for the first time. A 100 yards shot and I dropped a 400 lb sow. Knocked her Down! Second kill was a deer at 60 yards and I dropped it and gutted it with one shot. If you like ribs then don’t use these rounds! I can say I had a lot of fun last season with them. Warning! Not for the light weight hunters. These WILL put a hurting on your shoulder! Good luck!

I bought a couple of boxes for G.P. They are like having a 500 nitro express in a shotgun!!! Wow!!! If you need a brushgun backup, this is the stuff. muzzle energy is around 3728 ft/lb and at around 1900 ft/sec this is not a round for the weak hearted it will let you know it!!
