Defective, right out of the box. Elevation won't adjust. Not only is it a waste of money, it's a waste of time dealing with returns and inconvenience too. Don't buy.

This scope is well worth the money. I bought it to replace the piece of junk that came with my 30-06 and boy was it great. At 100 yards I had no problem seeing my hits and at 500 the mill dots made it almost too easy to hit the bulls eye, but my friend claims that is the sniper in me coming out. I recommend this to anyone who needs to reach out and touch something.

I saw the reviews and thought it would be "worth" it. Maybe I'm just a snob, but the crosshairs did not line up with the turrets. If the crosshairs didn't sit at 1&7 instead of 12&6 I could have lived with the poor light transfer and parallax... There is glue on the outside of the tube??? Requesting a RMA in the morning!

I ordered this scope for an early christmas present and sighted it in today. It is remarkably clear at 100 yrds and can easily read print 1/4". Work great too shootin' some does with it tomorrow after I count how many eyelashes they have.

As usual Tasco has exceeded my expectations. The scope has excellent clear optics. For the price, you can’t beat it. The optic is right on the money at the firing range. It’s nice to get a good scope for a reasonably good price without paying 600 or 700 hundred dollars. Thanks CTD.

People always tell me that Tasco is a brand that doesn't have a very nice reputation for quality. I beg to differ. I bought a 30.06 and it came with a Simmons scope that would not stay zeroed. I would sight it in, walk from the range to my deer stand, and shoot two feet over a deer at 100 yards. Out of frustration I "borrowed" the Tasco scope off my dad's .22 mag and never missed a deer. It held it's zero until the day I gave it back to my dad. I recently bought this scope for my .17 and at 50 yards I am shooting the thumbtacks out of the target paper and nailing the .17 cases at 25 yards. Very nice scope and holds a zero even after an extremely rough ride in the bottom of an aluminum boat. I would certainly recommend this scope.

Based on its price and Tasco’s so-so reputation I didn’t expect much when I purchased this scope. I was just looking for something to put on my .22 WMR plinking rifle. Much to my surprise this scope offers bright and clear optics, adjustable parallax, and windage and elevation adjustments that hold true shot after shot. Scope is easily affordable for the average Joe at $70, and it is a very good value for the money. I’ve used friends’ rifles with $200 – $800 scopes, and I can’t tell any difference between them and my Tasco when shooting out to 200 – 250 yards. I honestly can't imagine spending more money for those extremely pricey big name brands unless you're into competitive shooting contests where the slightest edge is the difference between winning and losing, or your job description includes “life on the line” assignments.

My son found this scope in Cheaper Than Dirt and showed it to me. I moved the scope from my Browning 22-250 to a higher powered rifle. I needed a new scope and was looking at medium priced scopes, $200 to $300. My son was so excited about the scope, I ordered it. It set for months because I thought that it was not good enough. Well, I finally mounted the scope and tested it. At 100 yards I could clearly see my hits. I could see the hits better than much more expensive scopes. The accuracy was excellent. All groups were around one inch or less. Both me and my son were able to shoot great groups. I am excited and very happy. It is a great product at a dirt cheap price.

I have purchased three Tasco Target scopes and each has been a super buy. I mounted two of them on Savage 110 LE medium heavy barreled rifles in .308. Both have held under an inch groups at 100yards. I have shot 1.5" to 2" groups at 200 yards using Federal 168 gr HPBT match ammo. You can buy more expensive brands and there is nothing wrong with that, if the brand name is a big deal to you, but hey the average joe shmuckatelly has a wife and family with a budget. The minimal gain in accuracy if any that you obtain from spending more hard earned dollars for a scope costing 3-4 times is not worth it. Save your money for ammo, go to range and practice holding and sqeezing. That is where you make those important shots count. It is not the noise we make but the accuracy of each well placed round that matters. Semper Fi

I'm Sammy Salsa from chicopee, MA. I bought a sweet Savage 243 rifle that is bolt action and for lefties! It is my dream come true! Finally I found a scope that isn't too expensive but certainly right on the money. Boy, let me tell you... since the first shot I took at 25 yards I set the scope in just one try. Then I move to fifty yards and it was perfect! But, when I went to 200 yards that really took the cake. I recommend this the Tasco 6x24x42mm Varmint scope for not just this rifle but for all rifles! ^__^ Now i can serously get down and take that great shot i always wanted!

Its a nice scope and its worth the money. Its only about $70 and it has very clear lenses. Over all its a great value and a pretty nice scope.
